The Imperium invades earth.

Governess of the pacific northwest orders the removal of all humans within her territory.

Governess of the Midwest, Central America/Southwest, and the pacific northwest enter into an agreement to end human habitation from the coastal front of the rocky mountains to the frontal range of the Rockies due to environmental degradation. Some are offered buyouts but most is accomplished through offering housing vouchers in newly created habitation zones in the eastern US via prefab structures and turning off all power and utilities. Some fight back, some leave, some choose to stay and endure both indirect and direct harassment by the occupation authorities. Effectively an area from the yukon down to northern Arizona is depopulated and goes dark as all but essential areas are shutdown.

Militiawomen acting under the indirect guide of the governess of the pacific northwest begin abducting boys and girls as old as 16 and as young as 5 for Mavri'Petra's raising man project. Estimates and fractional records indicate the project will kill or maim nearly 45 percent of subjects abducted for the experiment.

The city of Sydney is destroyed by a Russian nuclear torpedo attack killing nearly fifty thousand Imperials and three regional governesses.

Humanity is granted its provisional citizenship within the Imperium, previously removed populations are allowed to return but most find their former homes in the hands of the first wave of Imperial settlers.

Due to the increased scrutiny of the situation on earth Mavri Petra is forced to shutdown its efforts at 'raising men', some survivors are abducted off worled, some are liquidated, while most are memory wiped and dumped. A handful escape their captors almost immediately and scatter to the wind.

Resistance activity around the world begins to spike. In North America the depopulated west, now called the 'Hochsukha' (or High dryness) by the militia and marines forced to patrol its roads has become a hotbed for dissident and insurgent activity.

Unlike the Pacific Northwest removal order the 'Hochsukha' had been a mixed effort of buy out offers and for others simply turning off the power and water that kept the region alive. However the grand exodus had left pockets of determined human settlement. Some original locals, others who had come in from the Pacific Northwest after escaping the relocation centers in Montana and the Dakotas. Others, some insurgents or simply bandits have moved into the region as well, exploiting the lack of major militia presence outside of a few sites.

The Colorado Free Army begins to operate in Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho, and Montana.
