Neu Ghost Fleet Timeline - Ducks in a Row

Main Events

A stellar fix via the Waypoint system informs all UAS officials that they are officially in a galactic position that lines up with Waypoint's location in the year of 2028 AD. Cascadium is located roughly sixty light-years away, why it has been re-positioned remains a mystery.

The UAS systems of Waypoint and Cascadium, after coming to the realization they've been trans-located into a new reality, reorganize into a two system federal entity centered on the colony world of Cascade.

Non-UAS organizations present on the colony world and in the Waypoint System are briefed on the occurrence, to a man they align with the new situation. For them the matter is simple, there is no more home to go back to, things have changed. The humans they're with, they decide, represent the best chance for their own long term survival.

Scout groups are sent to known locations including sites in both Alliance protected space and Imperial claimed territory. They discover that some things line up with events of their own timeline while others do not. One major discovery is the situation of the Vitari in a nearby sector. Like in their timeline the Imperium is slowly annexing their string of systems in a military campaign. Strangely this event lines up with the pursuits of House Leveskina and their want to control the Vitari and their 'bridge' across the Yuravin Expanse regional void of the shared periphery.

The 'Uptime' Vitari counsel that had been established in the Waypoint System, a measure taken after a military intervention against the Imperium by the UAS, is briefed on the status of their species. They immediately begin to lobby for another intervention as the scout ships observer the various precursor operations for an Imperial invasion of the next Vitari system in the string.

A stealth ship is deployed to Glenstat System, the Imperial center of gravity for the regional approach to the other Vitari controlled star systems. It discovers the steady build up of ships, men, and material for a planetary invasion. Snooping into their communications reveals that the intended target is the Nyfreta system.

FLEETCOM decides that having the Vitari, even if the relationship must be kept secret, owe them would be better than letting another system slip under Imperial control. An operation is greenlit and the group of Edixi forces are drawn into as a 'face'.
