Remnants of prewar main force military forces and surviving reserves that have chosen not to surrender themselves to the attentions of Imperial occupation. Some hide in plain sight due to the hectic nature of the post invasion world under assumed identities, others have taken up arms and fled to areas the Imperials consider yellow and red zones. By ten years post war they are well experienced in Imperial operations but their numbers and material equipment have dwindled from capture, casualties, and some simply deciding that joining the 'new' society on the sly is the only real option for a chance at a future. However they remain the most capable armed force on the planet after the Imperials and their puppets.
